12 MONTH HEALTH GUARANTEE
Iowa's Doodle Co. guarantees the puppy is in good health, is up to date on immunizations appropriate for the puppy’s age and has appropriate dewormings at the time the buyer takes possession. The buyer has 72 hours to take the puppy to the veterinarian for an examination and email the report to seller. If the puppy is found to be in poor health, the buyer has the option of returning the puppy to seller, at buyer’s expense for a full refund (minus shipping charges), or keeping the puppy with no refund. If the puppy is not taken to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy, the health guarantee is VOID.
This warranty does not include any maladies that are common among any living creature; ear infections, food or environmental allergies, misaligned teeth or cosmetic dental procedures, hernias. It does not cover any viral illnesses, including but not limited to, parvo and distemper. This is due to the exposure pups get when they leave my closed facility.
Great care has been exercised to ensure the puppy is free of parasites, worms, coccidia, and giarda. Since these are very common in puppies, the guarantee does not cover these very treatable conditions as could be from the stress of moving, over handling, or lack of rest. Your puppy has been treated on a schedule from the age of 2 weeks for these conditions and it is now the Buyers responsibility to continue on any needed treatments and have the puppy checked for parasites on a regular basis.
We also do not cover any orthopedic diagnosis at any time as we are not able to monitor or regulate the puppies weight, exercise, or activities which can result in an orthopedic diagnosis. This guarantee also does not cover environmentally induced diseases including but not limited to allergies, autoimmune disorders, cancer, OCD or other joint disorders that could be caused by stressed joints/ nutrition on a growing puppy.
Seller provides a 12 month guarantee against any debilitating congenital defects. In the event that puppy exhibits symptoms of a suspected debilitating congenital defect, the buyer must supply and requested veterinarian records to seller.
If it is determined the puppy does have a genetic or health disorder that is identified within the first 12 months of purchase that is designated severe or life threateningby two independent veterinarians (one of Seller’s choice) the buyer has the option to (1) either a replacement puppy from the next available litter (discretion of seller) or (2) reimbursement (up to½ the purchase price of the original puppy) and your puppy need not be returned to us. Shipping fees will not be reimbursed.
If the puppy should die from a suspected congenital defect within 12 months of its date of purchase, and autopsy must be performed at the buyers expense by a licensed veterinarian approved by seller and discussed with the sellers veterinarian. If the autopsy shows a congenital defect as the reason or the death, the seller will provide another puppy of equal value to the purchaser. A written statement from the veterinarian must be provided. This warranty is void in the event of an undetermined or inconclusive diagnosis.
We cannot guarantee that your puppy will never develop any health problems, just as a pediatrician cannot guarantee a child will never develop any health problems in the future. Some things are just not able to be predicted. All breeding parents are free of diseases, disorders, and health problems; otherwise we wouldn’t breed them. If anything does occur we required you to inform us so we can reevaluate our parents and eliminate any issues from our breeding program.
Breeder will not replace or refund for any personal reasons, but not limited to, allergies, mortality, landlord’s disapproval, family disagreement or any other problems not related to health, nor for a puppy’s illness caused by neglect, exposure to weather, injury, choking, poisoning, etc. This warranty does not include viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, hernias, patella luxation, cancer, retained testicles, food allergies, hypoglycemia, minor heart murmurs (level 1 or 2), thyroid issues, ear infections/mites. It also does not include any ingestion of foreign objects, food, chemicals, physical injury or issues whose cause is unknown or may have an environmental link. These are not considered life threatening diseases. This guarantee is void if it changing originally ownership.
Upon taking ownership of puppy, buyer accepts health guarantee as stated above.
The owner of the puppy and breeder/seller of the puppy agree that this contract will be governed by the laws
